Conservatory curator Kevin Nixon, CUAES greenhouse grower Paul Cooper, and Plant Sciences major Patty Chan have continued construction of the new water feature in the southwest corner of the Palm House.
This past week, they constructed a frame, installed the liner and started edging the pool with stone and building a waterfall.
Once completed, the pond will be the new home for a Victoria lily currently growing in another greenhouse and other aquatic plants.
